As a Technical Project Manager, you will be pivotal in ensuring the successful delivery of complex technical projects. Joining our global delivery team, your key responsibilities will include aligning business objectives with technology implementation, project planning, and ensuring projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee end-to-end project solutions, providing both technical and functional guidance to the team.
- Possess strong knowledge of project methodologies and frameworks such as Agile and PMP.
- Demonstrate expertise in technical areas critical to technology integration.
- Manage customer and team expectations, addressing conflicts proactively.
- Foster relationships and address technical issues with customers, partners, and vendors.
- Showcase a deep understanding of software design and architecture principles.
- Conduct high-level analysis for new requirements and change requests to solutions.
- Estimate effort, costs, and assess project risks and issues clearly.
- Anticipate risks and propose mitigations, escalating issues well in advance.
- Contribute to coding, code reviews, testing, and documentation when necessary.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including WBS and task interdependencies, while monitoring progress.
- Manage scope tightly, ensuring deliverables, dependencies, and exclusions are clearly defined and effectively handled for technical feasibility.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to align on project scope and timelines.
- Provide status updates and RAG reports with proactive communication on issues and risks.
- Use verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.
- Measure project performance using appropriate tools and methodologies.
- Anchor operational processes such as timesheet approvals, leave management, timely appraisals, and invoicing in collaboration with enabling functions.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in a Product or Service-based IT organization.
- Educational Background: ME / M Tech / BE / B Tech or equivalent.
- Proven experience in end-to-end BI project implementations, including designing and validating environments for simulation, emulation, BI solutions, or application development.
- Demonstrated success in technical project and change management.
- Exceptional organizational and leadership skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
